Adirondack chairs on wide veranda decks for daydreaming while waives rhythmic cadence gives the illusion of being on a cruise. You may also select a non-ocean room overlooking colorful courtyards, large swimming pool or lush lawns.

With an attractive King, single Queen or two Queen beds, each room is non-smoking, high-speed wireless internet and voice message, amply furnished with refrigerator, iron & board, coffee & tea, in-room safe, hairdryer, makeup mirrors, air-conditioning and HBO, all complimentary amenities.

Pets love the beach and are pampered in selected Guest room locations.

The Business Center is complimentary to Guests and accessible twenty four hours each day for Guest’s convenience with three high-speed internet computers, printer and connections for wideband high-speed wired stations. The Beach Resort is also WIFI accessible in all public areas including the Resort Lobby, providing ample space for lounging as you surf the internet.

Our Fitness Room has exceptional exercise equipment including recumbent bikes, elliptical fitness equipment, Star Trac treadmills, stair steps and Cybex multi-station weight machine with leg-press, fly and pressing stations.

A delightful Gift Shop offering specialty items, memorabilia, collectable's, handmade crafts, candles and other unique gifts. Browse through our distinctive BEACH RESORT Monterey apparel and sundry necessities. Conveniently located on the 2nd floor lobby area.

The gated pool area is ideal for soaking in Monterey-style sun, reclining in our spa or swimming laps in our year round outdoor heated swimming pool. Towels are furnished as you lull about on teak lounge recliners. Pool hours are from 10am to 10pm daily.

Jogging, leisurely walks and invigorating bike rides has never been more accessible; the Resort property adjoins the world-famous 33-mile long breathtaking Monterey Peninsula Recreation Trail. There are no better panoramic views anywhere in the world than from this spectacular trail. Try it. It will spoil you for the ordinary!

Café Beach Restaurant’s stunning views and magnificent food has been described as “Monterey’s secret Windows-on-the-Bay” hidden away on the fourth floor of the Beach Resort. We also offer In-room Dinning with a full selection of menu options to be served in the convenience of your own room. Wine, cocktails & specialty coffee drinks are offered at Sandal's Lounge, open daily between 4pm and 10pm and located in the main lobby level overlooking a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. Happy Hour also comes with a complimentary assortment of light snacks.

Live Entertainment
If you’ve ever ran the Big Sur Marathon in April you were greeted at mile 13, as you descend Hurricane Point and before you cross Bixby Bridge, by a tuxedo-clad pianist seated at a Yamaha Grand. This same young pianist that sooths the runners sore soles and helps them retool for the rest of their run is our own Michael Martinez. As an entertainer with a vision and a gift for rejuvenating the spirit, Michael plays Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights in our Lobby near Sandal's Lounge from 6:30pm to 10:30pm.
